DSO Quick Page Mini Freebie

Good Evening, Folks;

When the kids are away, Mom will play, LOL, and that's what I did today. Tammy came over and we were making scrap stuff and in between helping her and doing my own thing I was able to get a page done. If you would like this quick page, it's yours for the taking. And you can create your own quick pages to as I've included each piece separately, (flower, frame and paper) and a bonus paper too. All made with Kim B's DSO September Swatch.

Enjoy and Have a funtastic day.

Sept DSO CC - Freebie

Howdy Folks;

Is it cold where you are? Up here in Southern Ontario it's like the end of fall. We had to put the heat on a few days ago and last night was freezing outside. I swear the seasons are all messed up. We had the least amount of rain for summer this year and the end of Autumn came in before the end of summer went out. The butterflies are confused. They need the warm Mexican wind to take flight and it's no where to be found. Mexico is flooded with rain and there's not one but 2 hurricanes playing in the gulf.

Yesterday I went shopping for some winter boots with my girlfriend and as we wandered around the stores looking at things we noticed 95% of the stuff was made in China. I can't even find a pair of underwear that isn't made in China. Where the heck does the things Made in Canada go? Doesn't Canadians make anything anymore or does the entire planet get there stuff from China? That really freaks me out. No offense to China but I still haven't gotten over the wheat gluten pesticide that killed a lot of pets or the embalming fluid found in Victoria Secret bras or the lead found in the paint on children's toys, all coming from China. Or the milk that killed lots of Chinese children made in their own country.
I didn't get the boots so tomorrow I will try some other stores like Mark's Work Warehouse. Maybe I can find some boots that actually keep my feet warm cause that thinsulate stuff sucks big time. Last year I had to wear those thick wool work socks over my regular socks in ski do boots, of all things.

Anyways, I am going to be pretty busy over the next several weeks with Thanksgiving coming up and then Hollow's Eve and we still have to get the cottage set up for winter. Stages have to be made, painted and set up, rehearsals, parties, dinners, etc. so I am booked solid. And Tyler decided he wants to play hockey this year so my weekends and nights are gone too.

I was able to get a few papers done and some round frames for September's DSO CC but that's all I will be able to get done for this month. I won't have any time available in October so it's best that I get what I've made out to you now before I get so wrapped up in things that I forget to even get them to you at all. I so wanted to make something to do with wine and grapes cause that's what these colors told me they were but time just wasn't on my side :) So enough of my blabbing. Here is the preview and below it the links.

When I can, if I can, I'll pop in. However before I go to bed for the next few days I'll check in to make sure you all are not having any issues in downloading.

Enjoy and have a funtastic Autumn.
Huggins to you all.

Pamela McNicol Is BACK

Howdy Folks;

I had the best surprise this evening when I opened reader and saw a post I had been waiting for for so long. I scrolled right on down to read the post by the infamous Pamela McNicol.
You may recall Pamela took a much needed break way back in April 2009 to take care of her family. Well she is making a comeback and I can't wait....I am so thrilled. I missed her and prayed for her and her family every day.
Today she posted a picture of her 3 children heading off to school and they look so loved and incredibly happy. The break was so worth it for all of them.

Please head on over and give Pamela a big warm welcome back. You are going to love her designs. I know I do.

We're Back

Well Hello Everyone;

Has it been ages or what LOL

What a busy 1st week back to school. PTA meetings, Library Meetings, Social Meetings, well you get the picture. But today is Saturday and I can finally sit down and catch up. I opened reader first thing when I finally got online and man, over 5000 posts to read, NOT. Sorry girls and guys but I just hit the Read All button. I couldn't possible handle it. I opened my email and wow, there are over 200 emails in there.
I know I missed a lot in digiland but I had a fantastic summer. How about you?
I really missed you peeps personally and I thought about you quite often. I talked about you all quiet often too. Some of the girls and I went to a few country sales. These are like Garage sales but when in the country we go from farm to farm not house to house LOL.
More times then I can count I would spy something and think of one or many of you. So even though I wasn't online with you you sure were spending your summer with me.

This morning was the first time I turned on the computer too and I had several updates to do first. After that I went to look in my folder to see where I left off and there was sitting a layout I was suppose to get up before I left. I must have blanked it out or thought I did it but either way there it sat. Poor Loucee must think I forgot all about her and her challenge. Well I did didn't I. And I forgot to let Kim know I posted that little gift using the August CC. So I've done that now too. The Cars were right. Summer turns me upside down. It's my excuse and I'm sticking to it :)
Here is the layout I did for Loucee's Animal Challenge over at DSO...

Give me a few days to catch up on all the past and recent news and I'll get started on some new challenges and free gifts for all. Now where is my mojo bag...umm :)

Edit: Now there goes my brains again leaving me behind. Today is Sept 11 isn't it. Let us pray for the lives lost in 2001. I don't think any of us will forget that day as long as we live.
