My Humblest Apologizes to All.

Media Fire Uploaded it, gave me a link for it, and then off the file went disappearing into the great white open. It's the only logical explanation I can give since I did get a link and I saw it there LOL

Thank goodness I was browsing and nosing this afternoon before heading up North for the remainder of the summer tomorrow.

July DSO CC - Freebie

Howdy again, Folks;

Well it's been a nightmare trying to upload anything to DSO this evening. Connection keeps timing out. 1 hour of attempting this has left me frazzled. I gave up. Maybe tomorrow will be better.

Anyways, I was able to create a little something for the DSO CC this month. Just papers and a little surprise not shown in the preview. With all I have been doing up north these colors just didn't want to play with me this month LOL. Ah, my mojo needs to be kicked up a notch. I don't have much on the laptop to work with either and I just didn't have the time to sit and get into creating things from scratch. It's my excuse and I'm sticking to it :)

So it's like 1:30 ish here and I really need to get my head on the pillow as morning waits not for me to rise. So without further babble here is the preview and below it the links.

DSO Template Challenge

Howdy Folks;

How is your summer coming along? Enjoying and loving every minute of it I hope.
I am in the city for a few days to pay some bills & visit my sister for her birthday. She is not a party type person so no big event to go to. I am just going to take her shopping; she loves doing that :)

I needed to fill in some extra time I had today so I grabbed the template challenge over at DSO that Caryn is hosting this month. It's my first attempt at trying this new challenge so this is how it turned out....

It was fun. I don't usually put so much writing in my layouts and it was the hardest part to think about LOL. I tried to upload it to the gallery this evening but it kept failing on me so I thought it best to post it here. Thanks, Caryn, for a fun challenge.

I've got a little gift for you all too which I will post in a few minutes.

See you then LOL

DSO Scraplift

Good Evening, or I should say Good Morning LOL. Our friends next door had a party tonight, er last night, and we just got home around 2:30 am. On our way home Joe mentioned something about scrapping and poof it popped in my mind that I had done the DSO Scrap lift that Di had posted and totally forgot to post it up before we went out, dah.
It was my first lift and it was quite fun and filled up the free time I had. So before I doze off, here is my lift of JK Cantwell's original, Pans hanger.

And that's it for me, I am dozing here. Have a great day. mwah to all & thanks Di for a fun time.

June DSO Mini - Freebie

How are you all doing today? It's a gorgeous Friday here. Last day of school for my little man, yippee! Tomorrow we were suppose to head up to the cottage but the boys want to stay in the city till Sunday night, argh. Reason: tie up any loose ends, say so long to friends, blah, blah, blah. Okay, I guess I'll just have to wait even thou I am itching to go....NOW. LOL

Regardless, I had planned to get out to you what I have done so far for the June DSO CC this month. It's not a lot: 10 papers, 10 or so frames, and 2 templates I dug out from a couple of years ago. I didn't have enough time to make anything else, sorry. I hope you can use something from it anyway.

Here is the preview.

Journal Pages - Freebie

How are you all doing on this beautiful Monday. Enjoying the outside, the fresh air, I hope.
Friday is quickly approaching and then Summer Vacation begins. Yippee :)

As I mentioned before, Tyler is into bugs lately. This afternoon he asked me to make him a Bug Journal with colors that were adventurously aged, like Indiana Jones. He loved it. I thought maybe you could use one too.
There are 3 12x12 pages; left and right sides for writing on and a blank page that can be used for the front and back covers and the right and left sides of the journal pages for photo pages inside the journal. I have left them on layers in .psd format so that you can go about changing up the colors and adding any embellishments you find fitting for your own journals.

http://www.mediafire.com/file/m1ncjgmc25u/btmo_journal_1.zip

http://www.mediafire.com/file/rjljjlmtzgz/btmo_journal_2.zip

http://www.mediafire.com/file/ycmbl44nhdm/btmo_journal_3.zip

After I printed out 100 pages I put them in a tray. Tyler can grab some and go about his adventures. When he's done he'll put them back in another tray. He hasn't decided how he wants to bind them yet so we'll cross that bridge when we come to it. It's should be a fun hybrid type project for him.
I don't know if he wants me to put the photos on the blank pages and then print them or if he wants me to print out the pictures so he can stick them physically on to the journal pages. I totally forgot to ask him about that LOL. Have to write that on my Ask It list LOL. Done :)

Well I am getting tired so I best go and get ready for bed. Tomorrow I will look through some more folders and see what I can come out with to pass along to you before we leave you all for the summer.

Until then, enjoy your downloads and your day.

The cities here are into the full swing of the World Cup Soccer Series now; flags waving every where. Little Italy, Little Portugal, Little Spain,Little Brazil, packed. The English Pubs are packed too. But there is no bigger party then the one for Africa thou. May DSO CC Mini Kit + Bonus - Freebie

Hello, Hello, Hello, Everyone.

Hope you are all doing well. It's been a while.....life is great.
Our Australian friends left for their motor home journey on Friday. We had a wonderful 2 weeks with them, went like every where. Joe started holidays on Friday and will be leaving for the cottage in the very early morning. It's Victoria Day Weekend here or what many call 'the 2 4 weekend'...take that as you will :) It usually rains and turns hot and muggy, perfect for mosquitoes. It's also the time when folks open up the cottage or mobile home and light up the bbq for some grilled steaks and veggies. That's us :)
The kids will be out of school in a couple of weeks.....the school year sure did go by fast.

But enough babble...

Over the past month, whenever I've had a some spare time, I've been working with the DSO Colors for May. So I told Joe yesterday that I must get out to you all what I have at least done. I was on an experimental journey with this kit. Nothing fancy by any means. So lets get to it cause there are 5 files for a whopping 334 mb to be had. You'll find the links below the images.

First up there is the papers......there are 3 packs....

Second there is the elements.....the are about 50 or more in there.

Third there is a bonus pack....with the alphas, more papers, elements, and a template. I made an extra set of those brackets extra big.

Whew. And there you have it....not complete by any means.
So I am off to dream land till 2 am. I'll catch you all when we get back next weekend.

Enjoy your downloads and your days.

iNSB Day Textures - Freebie

Happy (International) Scrapbooking Day!

Can I say WOW! I have gone through over a dozen stores already this morning, saving images. Why? There is way to many choices for me and I can't make up my mind what I really need. There are just way too many fantastic kits and all kinds of stuff to choose from, it's mind boggling. I haven't opened Reader yet, haven't downloaded a freebie either. I can only imagine but I'll just bet there is over 1000 + blogs to read in there. And a ton of freebies to boot. And then there is the monthly blog trains. Whew, we are all going to be busy bees for the next few days. I am leary to even open my email LOL

Thank goodness I booked this weekend off with the boys ( I think it's going to rain too) so I won't be interrupted while I spend the entire day on the computer. I've never done that before.
The boys are off fishing and doing 'boy things' and they promised they won't be back till dark so I am just relaxing and enjoying. Everything is done in the house too. Joe even got me a 2 terabytes EHD. I think it's way too much and will take me forever to fill it up but Joe says that's good, he won't have to fetch me another for a long time to come.

I wanted to get some free stuff out to you all for the iNSB Day too, and was getting a bit behind on that so I thought I best stop looking at all the goodies and get these out to you asap. I made up some textures this week which I used on a few pages I created and I hope you can use them as masks or textures, depending on the graphics program you use or how you use these types of things. I haven't used them all myself yet LOL. There are 18 of them.

Edit: gees I totally forgot to mention....each are 300 dpi and 3600x3600 aka 12x12

Here are the previews and below them the links.

The images are backwards to the links... so image 1 = download 4. okay

April DSOCC - Freebie

Good Morning, All;

Are you all ready for NSBD, May 1st?
I asked Joe to get me an external terabyte drive today and I told him I will need it by the end of the month. If the week long events will be anything like last year I am going to need it. There will be parties going on in every forum and lots of freebies and especially discounts on neat products. I always save 100 dollars for this event and I go everywhere, even the nooks and crannies :)

Tyler is off with his school, to Ottawa! For the whole week :) On the way they are going to visit 1000 islands, an airplane and train museum, 3 noteworthy properties owned by famous historical people, two food companies, two schools where they will sleep at night on the way to Ottawa. When they finally arrive in Ottawa they will be staying at a university dorm near the capital building, visit a war museum and numerous other events the school has planned for them. He was really excited when they left Monday morning and when he called me tonight. He took his camera and has already filled 4 4 gig memory cards. I can't wait to see them.

So with Tyler away on his adventure we are presently going threw boxes trying to get out tax papers in order. I can't seem to remember where the heck I put them. I just had them all out a month ago. If I hadn't re-organized my desk we wouldn't be going through boxes, dang.

Over the last couple of days I was able to catch up on several blogs I follow and also finally finished reading what Reader had in there. Man that Reader can add up to a lot when you don't have the time to read it.

In my free time, which is increasing ever so slow, I was able to get some things done for Kim B's April Color Challenge. This includes....

40 brackets, 9 glass flowers, 6 decorative papers, 6 brad buttons, 6 frames, 5 card stock papers, 9 decorative glass ornaments.
Here's the preview and below it you will find the links.

Easter Papers Set 2 - Freebie

Morning All;

Just before 2 am I began posting and at 2 am I was finished but Blogger had other thoughts and decided to crash. I haven't checked if Blogger is having issues but something was going on with linking the preview image to the download and it began eating my dialogue, then itself and before I knew it Blogger had gone savage LOL Then I had a bit of work to do in Picasso tossing the images, then in the browser deleting all cookies, then cleaning up, etc...

So I'll begin again....

I woke up coughing, it's so dry, it feels like I have dust particles like every where in me, on me. I actually felt and feel these things biting me and go up my nose and such. So I got up and downed some night quill.
I know I am going to be sick with a cold, or worse, the spring flu. So I better get the second set out to you now while I am still able. LOL

You can download these at

http://www.mediafire.com/file/2vnj1o3om3n/btmo_easter_papers2.zip

The preview is up there. Again I had issues. Gees.
Also I went to media fire to upload set 2 and seen no one had downloaded the Doodle Frames. So when I came to the blog I read several people had left me comments that there was no link to them. Thank you very much for letting me know. *HUGS* for your help. I checked the post and sure enough the link had vanished. No wonder there were 0 downloads. duh LOL. So I re-posted the entire post. Terribly sorry about that folks. I'll put the link under the preview in the future. Live and learn :)

I have to go to the potty so I will let you all go, till tomorrow, with set 3.

Enjoy your download and your day.

Doodle Frames - Freebie

This is a re-posting of a post that has now been deleted due to errors :)

Good Afternoon, All;

Can you believe it's April already. And Easter is this weekend. Time just flies right on by when you're having fun, and I hope you are all having loads of fun.
What a gorgeous day it is. I hope you are all having wonderful weather and are enjoying the day.
Lunch is over and Tyler is back in school for the afternoon and Joe is fast asleep. Carrie is coming over at two so this gives me some time to get these out to you.
These frames were drawn on the tablet and I wanted them to have 'jagged style' lines instead of clean cut ones. Then I filled them in and for some I applied a stone texture and others I applied a cloth texture. In the preview below some have 5 frames while others have 10. With the 10's they have both rock and cloth effects. There are 5 colors of each. They are all in the same zip file (66mb). If you're interested the link is below this preview.

http://www.mediafire.com/file/mmznld22mmj/btmo_scribble_frames.zip

It's 1:30 pm now and I have a few things to do before Carrie arrives. I'll have some papers for you all on Saturday so I'll chat you up then.

Oh, the stage is set, we finished everything this morning, and tonight is the show. I am so excited. Tomorrow is Good Friday, no school and no work just loads of fun fun fun.

Oh, its 145 now, I have to go LOL ;) Thanks for stopping in.

Ella Lifted - Freebie

Howdy, All;

Whew, are we all having a wonderful week? I hope you are. Today I was home taking a rest from all the who ha when Sara came by for a visit. Sara is the lady who use to live in the building several blocks away from me and had the issue with the noise and moved out. She dropped by to give me some good news; they will be moving back into that building in July. The building was sold to new owners after the Super was sued in a class action suit by the tenants and won.

After Sara filled me in on all that news she then asked me to show her some computer and scrapbooking tips. We then spent the better part of the day having fun. From that fun, Sara made some things she wanted me to pass along to you. She said to tell you she is no pro and just likes to have fun.
These are a few of the things she wanted to do: make decals that had jelly like edges (see thru), how to make a template she could use over again, and how to make a quick pages. I showed her a couple of techniques for each of these and she went off like a whiz.
The day is never as long as we want it to be LOL so she didn't have the chance to get everything completely finished so I told her I would get what she did finish out tonight and the rest I will finish up and share tomorrow. Sound good, all? Okay!

One of the easiest ways to learn to make a layout is....scrap lifting. So Sara went online to some place, sorry I haven't a clue where, and saved an image to lift. I have the image....Do you know where it's from, who it belongs to? Please, leave a note so I can credit and link back. It's beautiful. I can see why Sara choose it.

Update: The follow layout was created by Nikki Hawkins @ Sweet Shoppe Designs Gallery.
The gallery link is http://www.sweetshoppecommunity.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=128280&cat=500&ppuser=1012

Thank you Sara for this info *mwah*

From it Sara made this layout...

Unlimited Free Image and File Hosting at MediaFire

And this quick page for you.
Click on the image to download.

Unlimited Free Image and File Hosting at MediaFire

A lot of teaching hours went into it. She made the flowers and the curly stems and used Corel's patterns and textures. She also made the pattern for the back paper from two paisley brushes. She did fairly well on it all for only her third try at digital designing. Now she knows how to make a template and a quick page. And she realizes it takes a lot of hours to do things from scratch :)

We did the decals first which is why she didn't finish them up for uploading. The lift took us the longest LOL In the time Sara was making the decals I was working on some papers. When I took a break I noticed Sara was making all these decals in the same colors LOL She forgot all about changing colors. We cracked up about that then took a break, came back and did the lift.

It was a fun day for sure. And I think she is just a bit hooked too so she will probably be back, lots LOL

Well I best let you all get on with your time. Thanks for dropping in today.
Enjoy your download and your day.
